"Dar Dorra was a fantastic experience. Room was perfect - nice size and most facilities you would expect in larger hotel chains. Breakfast buffet was great but was same everyday but there was enough variety to not get bored. Location was perfect for the bazaar and for sightseeing. Complimentary fruit and chocolate every night which was very nice. The property is well maintained and very beautiful. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. If you want to stay in the Medina this is the go to place you...

"Memorable wonderful stay in a most unique, quiet and safe property in the historic Medina. Perfect for adventurous travelers, not the Marriott crowd. Incredibly friendly and attentive staff made the stay simply wonderful. Highly recommend having dinner at the rooftop restaurant as well, and coordinate airport transfer with the hotel to avoid airport taxis. Enjoy the Medina! "

Dar Ben Gacem is beautiful, with rooftop views and amazing tile and architecture throughout. There are many areas to relax and enjoy the ambience. The breakfast has delicious food and an outstanding chef. If you need anything, they are always there to help. Another way they accommodate guest is by speaking English, Arabic and French. "We had an amazing time and felt so well cared for. The staff was very attentive. The room was probably one of the nicest I’ve stayed in. Everything was so new and clean. We really enjoyed the breakfast on the terrace. It was a great location, close to the Medina and not too far from the airport. The staff kindly arranged for taxi transportation. My only regret is that I couldn’t stay longer! "

"We stayed at the carthage suite for 3 nights. It was very comfortable. There is a bar/lounge just one floor up but that did not bother me at all. We slept well, the room gets nice and dark for a great rest. The room was in a very clean condition. There is tea, coffee machine, and lots of choices to chose from the mini bar. The tub is very big, with a sink and big mirror. The toilet is separate with it's own sink. There is nice gel hand soaps, body soap and shampoo which were organic and smelled...
