"Great experience at a beautiful place. The only "complaint" and I won't call it that...just an observation that could use some handling is the squeaky beds. They are old and beautiful, and the mattress was comfortable, but it could use some tightening or oil or something because any time my husband moved or rolled over, it was so loud it woke me up. Maybe it was just our room, but that was the only thing we would change."

"Hotel was really clean but as others have said the room does have a strong cleaner smell. The noise from traffic was awful and that is the only big reason I would hesitate to stay here again. Also, just random but I have never has such a bright light on a smoke alarm. Every time it blinked it lit the room like a camera flash. The front desk staff was the nicest we've ever had though and the cheesecake brownies at check in were amazing after a long day."

"Staff was wonderful, room clean…however the carpet was soiled and casing around shower door had what appeared to be mold. All and all a nice stay. Room rates are pretty pricey for the area."
