"Night staff needs to learn how to deal with people and not argue with them when they have general questions. such as why am I being charged an extra 15$ that wasn't mentioned on the reservation.. simple questions requure simple answers not rude and condescending ones. and after that experience and hauling all my stuff to the room upstairs, coincidentally, my room key didnt work and I had to track it all the way back down with all my stuff to request a new key. Coincidence... No, I don't think...

"We spent our mini honeymoon at Pennys motel we are blown away by how perfect everything was! Check in was smooth the bar was amazing the cocktails were delicious and the oysters were perfect the staff were so kind and helpful. We enjoyed the fire and the s’mores and the great people we met there! We will definitely be back!"

"Great location. My dog and I stayed for 2 nights so we could hike Lions head trail. The front lobby is under a much needed renovation. Hopefully they will get this finished. A nice coffee bar would be a bonus. My room was clean and partly renovated. The beds were comfy. Motel was quiet, we felt safe. A few things like a trash can in the room, clean windows, inside door lock, art work would add to the stay."

" doesn’t look anything like the pictures. It’s a very old hotel, and the beds are not comfortable—they sink in the middle. The rooms smell bad, and the outdoor areas are completely run down. It’s very expensive for what it is. On top of that, when I arrived, there was a beeping sound from the fire alarm in the middle of the room, and I had to waste time waiting for someone to fix it. Also, the person who greeted me at the front desk was not friendly or welcoming at all"
