"Basic simple room in a new apparently purpose-built house about 10 minutes walk out of the old town. Don’t make the mistake we made - we thought we’d be doing hosts a favour by extending our stay directly through them only to discover that they charged us a higher nightly rate than Hotels.com. "Overall good for a hotel in Italy. Best European room I’ve ever stayed in. The pool is great. The beach is nice. The food is mediocre, I was disappointed that you can’t even get a glass of tap water without paying. It is difficult to get into the restaurant for dinner unless you are doing all inclusive. The restaurant down the street is nice, and taking the 1 euro bus ride to Pula is an even better dinner option. The staff all seemed friendly, especially the cleaning ladies. It was very quiet and the pool entertainers worked hard. "
