"We have stayed at this hotel on two other occasions and I was really hoping for a good experience. The staff was fantastic -- no problems there. This location is due for an upgrade and the rooms greatly reflect this need. We were in room 144 and upon arrival, there were ants along the back of the desk and climbing up the wall. Upon further inspection, I noticed a LOT of crumbs behind the desk where the television is. Both the sink and bathroom drain were slow and needed to be unclogged. The shower had pink and gray grime around the crevices and fixtures. There is no exhaust fan in the shower portion of the bathroom so it gets hot and steamy with nowhere for the steam to go. The towels were stained and in poor shape. The sheets did not fit the bed and only a top sheet and a thin blanket were provided instead of a comforter or other substantial bedding that you would find at other Courtyards. The lamp on the desk was rusted. Half of the room was painted and you could see the transition line from one color to the next along the wall and no, it was not an interior design choice. It looked like money ran out so they stopped painting. The wall paper in the sink area was badly discolored so it appeared as if there was mildew there. I don't know if it was actually mildew because I didn't touch it, but regardless, it either needed to be wiped down or replaced. I am quite disappointed. "

"The woman at the front desk was an angel. I wish I could remember her name. I was having trouble with my card for the deposit (had paid room rate in advance, but small refundable deposit is required at check in). She was so patient and helped me figure it out. Safe, clean facility with great breakfast. Surprisingly comfortable bed-- i slept better than i do at home. AC also worked great. No complaints. "

"The shower water was lukewarm. Bed was okay but the bedding was very thin and cheap. I requested 1st or 2nd floor. I was told I would be put on 2nd floor when I called but when I checked in I was put on the 3rd floor. Very strict smoking policy although they advised smoking rooms they actually don’t have smoking rooms but charged extra for the smoking room we paid for in advance. 3rd floor smoked of cigarettes and the hall carpet is very outdated & is actually starting to separate from the floor. Although room was clean and the ac was great and the woman receptionist was very friendly with great customer service when I called & checked out. The customer service during check in was awful. Two men workers were talking very loudly one of the men must have been the boss because he was getting on to the other guy for the bedding. When I rang the bell for check in one of men got on the radio and started you have a customer & continue to get on to the other man for the bedding. I couldn’t see either men but only could hear their conversation. Which is not professional at all. The guy that check us in was not friendly at all & seemed to act like I was more of an inconvenience versus happy that I chose to spend my money at the business he works for. His nails were all short but one pinky nail & kept rubbing his nose ( take that how you will ) the lobby room had a motorcycle in it which honestly made the lobby look junky. Overall I definitely wouldn’t recommend this hotel "

"I was put in a room all the way in the back when I walked in there was there insect in the room I went back to tell them she called someone the person spoke Spanish and said she didn’t see anything to just tell me they cleaned it but what they didn’t know is I spoke Spanish too so went back packed my suitcase and left the same day and was still charged for full stay "
