"Well i think the pool did blow my mind by how warm it was. I think having to pay for parking and breakfast was unexpected. The showerhead in the room needed descaling as the water didn’t come out much and the kids doughball starters in my opinion are far too big and too much bread for a child I would suggest 4 or 6 much smaller balls. "

"From initial pre-stay phone call through registration to finally checking out, the staff were helpful, informative and friendly. None of our questions and requests were of any problem to the staff, to which they responded promptly and professionally. The room was beautifully presented and the bathroom huge with separate walk-in shower and bath. I would have no hesitation in recommending a stay at this magnificent hotel to any friend, relative or casual reader of this review. One minor niggle was the poor mobile reception for the EE network from our room (102). It caused a number of important missed texts before we discovered this issue. As we had 3 members of the family in different rooms, we quickly got around the problem by using the free wifi, which was excellent throughout the hotel and conference facility. Had this anomaly been highlighted on check-in, our missed texts and calls could have avoided. Regardless, it did not affect the enjoyment of our stay, Whilst our interaction with all staff was always good, the front of house staff deserve particular mention, as we had the most dealings with them. Lel was always of great help during our stay, and was consistent in her professional, yet friendly approach to us. Thank you Lel "
