"The decor is dated but room was comfortable..large hotel and breakfast area is very busy. Lacked staff at breakfast to keep trash cleaned up. Had rude receptionist when checking in but otherwise was good stay with excellent access to Mackinac island."

"Beverly was the ultimate concierge! Excellent advice on seeing Mackinac Island and even places to stop on our road trip after. Food was great. Location on the beach is nice. The room/hotel are a bit run down but not bad & the only reason for less than 5 stars."
