I recently had the misfortune of staying at this hotel, and unfortunately, my experience was subpar. The room's amenities were largely non-functional, including the mini-bar and hot shower.
Breakfast was also underwhelming, with several menu items unavailable, such as milk for coffee. To add to the frustration, the Wi-Fi connection was inconsistent.
The hotel itself is in dire need of renovation. The outdated infrastructure and worn-out facilities made my stay even more uncomfortable.
Given these issues, I would not recommend this hotel to others. Urgent attention is needed to renovate and improve the overall guest experience.

Fine, but not a place i'd return to.
Ok place to stay. Nothing special although staff very friendly and helpful when around. Unfortunately alot of 24/7 noise from refrigeration unit's beside room at rear as well as on-going ironworks cutting amd soldering during stay beside pool, as well as sunday church services inside hotel. Not the type of relaxation desired... are hotels church's?
The condition of the first room allocated was very poor. The next day, as I was eligible for a free upgrade if available, they gave me an executive suite which was a improved save that the bath water leaked over the bathroom floor instead of going out the sluice, the shower fitting needed repairs as well as door lock. All were fixed within 4 hours. For the price, the hotel offered fair value for money.
Nice relaxing place to stay. Outdoor area where you can have beer next to pool. Location slightly out of place but taxi or Ulendo app is easy to get and cheap to take you around.
This was my first stay at Mike Kabulonga after coming to Lusaka regularly since 2004. The property was clean, reasonable with a good restaurant and very attentive staff. Only disadvantage is it is not in walking distance of shopping or other areas. Nice place for the price

Having stated a 3 Mika Hotels/Lodges in Lusaka, this easily the best overall, especially the breakfast. The manager was particularly efficient ensuring that my state went smoothly. Well Done
Overall, my 13 days stay at Mika Hotel was very good. The staff were very friendly and helpful at all times. The food at the hotel was excellent. The only issue is the location which is a bit far from Kabulonga shopping mall. However, you can either walk which is about 30 minutes or jump in a taxi for 40K

We are happy with the Mika Hotel Kabulonga and would recommend it to others. The service have tough been varying and not all staff are as service minded as others. This we have experienced since the answers to some questions has differed between staff. Some staff always help you directly and are very keen that you have a nice stay and some have not been as helpful. We have really enjoyed the nice garden and breakfast was okay. We would tough prefer a more healthy breakfast, example we would like more whole grain bread to choose from and a broader variety of toppings and maybe plain yoghurt and some seeds for a healthy start of the day. Plant based milk is also a product we have missed since one of us can not eat milk.

All the staff are friendly and happy can't fault them
I enjoyed staying at the hotel. We were there for about a week. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Any issues, e.g. with wifi, were promptly taken care of. Good management!.
Breakfast was included and very good. Good restaurant menu. Good value for the money. We would stay there again and I would recommend it.

Hotel with great gym
The gym is great! The gym is great place to relax after long day and I have even found good contacts from there. Rooms are ok. Some electrical plugs were not working but the personnel changed me to other room. It was possible to get early breakfast before the normal opening hours, nice.

I wouldn't bother with this place.
Really not good. Room key didn't work, twice, and you have to wait until it beeps 21 times (I'm not joking) until it works. Shower door didn't close, etc.
Hotel is ok but more detail to be paid in terms of cleanness especially in the bathrooms. Not enough towels. Food is pathetic, too much salt added when preparing.
