"This stay at the Lodge Red hook was a bright spot at a very frustrating time in the city. Because of the NBA Finals and the World Cup the city was way overcrowded. The Lodge was an oasis of peace and the rooms are spacious! Xavier was very helpful and knowledgeable about all of the area’s best spots. Will stay here again"

"They forgot to clean our room the second night we were there so we had dirty towels in our room all day garbage, and had to go to the desk to get stuff for the next day cause we were checking out. The front desk, staff apologize, but we were not compensated at all."

What made the stay a 5 star was the staff - Hannah was awesome! We were on a trip to find an apartment for my son and Hannah was so accommodating and helpful - even with tips on snagging a NYC apartment! The only downside is the train runs right at the hotel but eventually it just melted into the background city noise. I would recommend...

"They have a small parking lot which is a lot better than no parking lot in NY, so parking was great. The staff was friendly. The breakfast that's included is great. It feels like not a lot of hotels include breakfast anymore so this was a huge plus. The common areas were nice and clean. The room was clean. The only thing I'd put in the suggestion box is; in the bathroom of our room where the toilet paper holder is screwed on it's a little bit too far. I had to give a good stretch while sitting...

"The overall stay was acceptable however there was an issue with one of their security guards. I will spare you the details, but it was very unprofessional. Beds, towels, and bathroom were all clean, but the bedroom carpet was filthy and I could tell that it had not been thoroughly cleaned in a while. "They use downfall pillows in the hotel this causes allergies to people who are allergic to feathers. Also not willing to do a later checkout past 12 even though the hotel wasn’t even close to capacity."

"I am writing to share feedback regarding my recent stay in room [Room 123]. While I enjoyed the hotel's excellent location, I encountered several issues with the room's condition. Specifically, there was no hand soap provided, and the bathtub had a significant drainage issue. Additionally, the television reception was blurry with poor resolution. I believe the property would benefit greatly from renovations to address these maintenance concerns. I hope this feedback is helpful for your future...
