"The place is ok for the short period stay. convenient for the commuting into town. Place is clean. Only the size of the room vs the cost was not really fair. The front office officers (reception) are not really service minded feeling in my view but it's acceptable as they are not smiling at the time you checked in or checked out or even asking anything. "
"Insgesamt wirklich sehr gutes Hotel, sehr freundlicher Check-In, schöne angenehm große Zimmer mit 2 Doppelbetten, sehr gutes Frühstücksbuffet, ruhig, freies Parken. Lage auf Long Island gut, allerdings zu weit entfernt für Sightseeing in Manhattan mit ÖPNV. Auto daher zwingend erforderlich. Falls wir nochmal in der Gegend sein sollten, würde ich dieses Hotel wieder nehmen."
"room is big enough. breakfast is a big plus for this hotel as it has variety. close to nyc ferry and b61 bus stop that takes to jay street metro. a bit far from the nearest metro station if you like walking. not much to do or see nearby as its a bit worn out and industrial part of brooklyn. 15-20 min walking distance to a very lovely park that overlooks the statue of liberty. only stayed for 2 nights so didnt care the lack of amenities such as kitchen and washing machine etc. the staff was...
"The hotel you can see they are in the middle of slowly renovating. Parts of our room had been completely redone - bathroom & some of the floor - and others were dated, awaiting replacement such as the headboards, furniture and decor. The beds were extremely comfortable. The hotel does not have a restaurant or breakfast but we found a diner about 10 minutes away and was well worth the drive to Thomas's Ham & Eggery. Overall it is a nice place to stay, convenient to everything, and clean."

"The rooms were very clean, the staff was great. The last time we were staying here Danfords actually owns the bar and restaurant and it has now been taken over by another company and the variety of options on the menu and the quality of food is much better. Also, the staff that work at the restaurant in the were awesome. Very friendly, very attentive."
"Nicely appointed rooms, comfortable beds, spacious for NYC. Clean. Nice views. Easy check in and easy walk to the train station to NYC. I will book again. A few homeless people nearby but property felt safe. Hotel should stay reasonable because of this. Lobby could use a refresh."
