"Had a frustrating experience with the hotel where I came a day late and they had given up my room, despite my calling the day before to ensure that did not happen. Caused us to wait in the lobby for 30 minutes while they scrambled to get a room ready, but they were not transparent about that and kept saying they just needed the manager to sort things out. Eventually, the manager did apologize and tried to make it up to us, but the initial frustration and lack of transparency hurt our experience....
