All the staff members are nice and friendly, and the breakfast was incredibly great, such a great experience, next time if we revisit London, this will be our first choice:)
Near the tube, also very suitable for walking. Conveniently located. Very clean rooms, understanding and accomodating staff, and excellent restaurant. Would highly reccommend.
Great staff… good ambience late afternoon. Wine not so good.. Food gd. Really liked the room and the bathroom and the view onto the local historical church.
Amazing stay! the room was so nicely decorated and had all the comforts. Loved the view of St Pauls out of our window. The reception staff and manager were just awesome. So welcoming and helpful...they really made our stay all the more fun.
Lovely property with air conditioning that worked properly. The staff were helpful and polite. The only problem I had was the poorly designed shower with doors that open out hence a flooded floor
I didn't realise when i booked that i booked a room for disabilities, so i told them in advance. When we got there the receptionist said it didn't matter and that nobody needed it for that night.
We couldnt have wished for more. It was spacious, plush, had everything. The view of the city was nice. Lighting was excellent. It had a very big bathroom with wetroom shower.
If the standard rooms are half as good I'd be happy. Breakfast is not your traditional English it has a turkish twist to it. We had poached eggs on sour dough toast with smoked salmon on the side.
In general it was ok. Price performance was good. Location was good. The room was small but there was mirrors facing bathroom and toilet. So someone lying on the bed can easily see your actions. It wasn’t that much comfortable
We enjoyed our stay at Hyde London City. The location is excellent with multiple public transport stops nearby, check-in was friendly, and our room was stylish and very clean. One drawback: the windows didn’t open, and I suspect the air conditioning made me feel unwell (I’m not American—I’m not used to this!).
We had booked a rate including breakfast and were surprised to learn—only at the restaurant—that the à la carte breakfast comes with a fixed spending allowance. In our case it was just £18, which didn’t even cover one dish and a coffee without paying extra. The food was tasty, but the selection was not great—just OK: a few egg dishes, some toast-based options, nothing fancy, no fruit or vegetables —and portions were relatively small. For a hotel in this category, including at least a basic continental buffet would be more appropriate. Paying a supplement for premium dishes would be understandable; paying extra for a simple breakfast is not. More than once we left still hungry.
It would help if this budget cap were clearly stated during the booking process. The breakfast staff also seemed unsure about the different price categories and weren’t especially enthusiastic, which added to the confusion. Address these points and this would be an easy five-star stay.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Disliked: Amenities
All rooms listed as VIP rooms are handicap accessible with very low bathroom vanities. The entire bathroom floor gets soaking wet after each shower. There is no light above the bathroom vanity. There are no drawers or even shelves for clothing. I would not recommend this hotel and will not stay here again.
However the restaurant is fabulous.
Great location and very safe. The staff is wonderful and very helpful. The rooms are small, but clean and very cute. The only bad part was the bathroom especially the shower. There is no rim to stop the water from the shower, and the floor was always wet. Other than that, I would recommend.
