New owners were super sweet and great hosts! Great customer service at the restaurant and lovely bnb staff. Area was great with lots to do :) Rooms were clean! Enjoyed the dj night at the pub part below.
The neighborhood and property were beautiful! We have never felt more welcomed and at home at a hotel before. Everything about our stay was amazing, from easy check in, lovely people who run it, who accommodated us in every way possible, to artsy aesthetic. We loved getting to stay at a hotel that is so community centric, who want to bring artists and musicians together in one beautiful place. Looking forward to staying there again, thank you Sonia!
Clean room, just a bit hot. Wifi was very spotty in the room. Also important to note that you can't get there before noon when the pub opens for check-in.
Good staff very friendly and bar and restaurant looked excellent.
Rooms need urgent refurbishment as they are poor.
Carpets with multiple stains. No WiFi whilst we stayed. No working tv.
No water or glass to use taps. No tea/coffee facilities.
Music until 12 midnight.
Could be amazing as location is perfect for Olympia.
Would go back if refurbed like bar.
The room was simple but cozy and quite spacious, offering everything you need for a short stay. The hosts were incredibly warm and made us feel right at home. The pub on the ground floor is a real highlight—a cozy neighborhood hangout with a great atmosphere, delicious food on weekends, and even DJ nights. If you want to experience authentic London flair with lovely people, this is the place for you!
No heat, loud disco downstairs, no TV and limited Internet. I've traveled many places, and I do think this was one of the worst places I've ever stayed. Tried to talk to the owner/manager, but he could never put his drink down long enough to care.
Go to a real hotel and skip this place
Overall it was average, very dirty windows. Cobwebs, dirty bugs etc. stains on walls. Where it’s above a pub it is insanely noisy until they close. So if you’re trying to get a good sleep this isn’t the place for you.
Property was hard to contact and access. Not suitable if you have luggage of any kind. Room was dirty and falsely advertised. WiFi does not work in room and tv was not connected to anything. It was loud outside and in the pub below until 1am. Screaming outside at 3am and there are hardly any places to eat nearby or in the pub. Facility owners were nice but the stay itself was terrible.
Arrived at the location at 2.15pm, from over 100 miles away, to find the place clised with chairs all stacked up and letters stuffed in the door. Even though on the website they said we're open from 12 midday to 12 midnight. Tried to contact property but nothing then looked on website and said no accommodation available for your dates. By this time we only had just over 3 hours to get ready and be Royal Albert Hall for Remembrance show, so we managed to get another hotel just in time. However, later on we saw the property open when we were going out. So tried to explain our dilemma and was basically told unlucky, should have waited. Not the service I would expect and will also never use Expedia again.
