The staff were friendly. The room was clean. The TV didnt work. There was no hairdryer. The sink was tiny so water went all over the floor. The bathroom light stopped working when I had a shower! Only one towel provided and no floor mat.

The hotel was adequate for my reasons for booking which was for easy and comfortable access to the Cromwell Hospital where my wife was having an operation. I was not requiring anything other than an acceptable place to spend the night and rest between hospital visits.

Run down, a bit smelly, but very cheap

This hotel is nicely located in South Kensington relatively close to the Tube and surrounded by nice shops and restaurants...and it is very cheap. The hotel itself is run down, a bit smelly, and not a very attractive and comfortable place to stay. The promised bar didn't serve coffee or alcohol, the air condition didn't work properly and the window was instead held open by two bricks. The cleaning staff threw out one of my bags with souvenirs, and the hotel didn't reimburse me. I will definitely find another hotel next time around.

Nice rooms

Was down for one night with my wife for a concert. Rooms were surprisingly decent size and clean and comfortable. Window looked out onto an enclosed wall space but we were not there for the views. Would stay here again. Hotel throughout was clean. Enjoyable stay. Bed was big enough and comfortable. Nice hotel

Our stay was satisfactory we would choose this hotel again as perfect location. The carpet inside room could benefit from an upgrade and there was a weird mouldy smell coming from bathroom but we only needed a basic room for one night so worked.

For the price you pay, the property is fair. The location is excellent, this is the main reason we stayed here. One thing that really does need considering however is the window in the family room. We have a young daughter who could reach the window, and needed constant supervision because she was able to easily open them and there was a sheer drop the other side!

Central and affordable

This hotel is in a very central location in London, but our price was still affordable. The room was small but functional. We even had a balcony. Private bathroom in great shape. We stayed here in the middle of the summer and the ac (though noisy) was a welcome bonus. Direct tube to St Pancras and the Eurostar trains. The street is busy with traffic 24/7 so expect that.
