"What did we like? Here goes..warm welcome, clear information on breakfast and room details. Although this looks like an old hotel it I assume it has had a lot of money spent on upgrades to retain "Ye Olde" feel to it. Room was not massive but very well decorated with lovely solid sleigh bed. En-suite was very up to date with nice shower and endless hot water. Tiled floor but underfloor heating so not getting back in to bed with ice cold feet after a 3am loo trip. Sockets at bed side tables...

Host was welcoming and helpful and everything was well laid out, from the bedroom (and sitting room extension) to the breakfast area lined with books to suit any reader! "

The property doesn’t have parking on site, as wrongly advertised, but they were super kind sharing nearby options ahead of my stay. Staff were friendly too!"
