"Amazing views, great communication from the initial booking. Cosy little cottage to retreat to after a days climbing. Great weekend break.
Drive way is suitable for all cars and car parking close to the cottage."

"The cottage was very quiet and remote yet the road is no problem at all. It has a stunning view and there’s a walk route where you can explore nearby villages and farm. The cottage owner was friendly and accommodating. She prepared freshly baked scones, milk, coffee, tea, sugar ready on our arrival. She checked on us as well twice to make sure we’re okay. The cottage was cosy and heating was perfect if you need it. The water pressure was superb and the kitchen is well equipped. Location wise,...

"Absolutely amazing, great location, nice and peaceful. Host made sure that me and my friend are happy with everything and she was available if we needed anything. We had a lovely welcome gift ( Prosseco, chocolates and delicious Welsh cakes), the hot tub was warm and ready for us on arrival.
About 9 minutes drive to Zipp World, 12 minutes to little town called Betws- y- Coead where you can go for lovely food, walks and explore Beautiful waterfalls.

"This cottage is immaculately presented from the outside and in. It’s a great location and is only a very short walk to the centre of Betws-y-Coed. On road parking is available along the road outside the cottage and there are plenty of spaces further along the road if you can’t get directly outside.
The cottage is modern and has everything you could need for a break in this beautiful part of Wales. My only negative point would be that the beds in one of the rooms are a little sunken and could do...

"Beautiful cottage, very quiet and super friendly owners. Would definitely recommend to anyone. Fantastic views and lovely little garden. Perfect place for a relaxing break and great base for exploring all of snowdonia. "

"We spent two nights in the Coach House in early July and found it clean and comfortable. Our room was accessible by a relatively steep and narrow set of stairs, which was fine for us but could be an issue for travelers with mobility issues or a lot of luggage. There is no air conditioning but a fan was provided (though given then outlet locations, we weren't able to position it in a very helpful location). The location of the hotel is great and we were able to walk to the bus stop to take the bus to the Pen y Pass trailhead, and then back down the Llanberis Path directly to the hotel.
Breakfast was nice and included a good selection of hot and cold items (eggs, hash browns, toast, fruit, cereal, etc.) and beverages. We enjoyed afternoon snacks, drinks and dinner in the bar area and picnic tables outside. There weren't many places open for a late lunch or early dinner in town so we spent most of our free time at the hotel.
The demographic while we were there was a bit strange - lots of elderly folks who appeared to be part of a tour group. Not sure if that's typical, but it made it feel a little like we were staying in a retirement home."
"Old established hotel on the sea front. Great location.
Staff very helpful
Room was fine, comfy bed, large bathroom
Car park was a scramble, pre-book if you can, as it's not big enough for the number of rooms in the hotel.
Negative- breakfast, first morning everything was over cooked, burnt sausage, dry bacon, dry hash brown, over cooked eggs. OK for cereal and fruit and all the usual non cooked items. Disappointing for a 4 star hotel. It did improve slightly on the 2nd morning."
"As I'm unable to walk upstairs, I was grateful that there was lifts to my room, but it was different outside the hotel, it's not accessible, the bedroom was a bit small for 2 single beds, and not much of a view as my room was at the back of the hotel."
"Upon arrival we were greeted by reception staff and they were very polite and friendly. They gave us all the information we needed and showed us to our room. The room was neat and tidy and was adequate for our needs. Alex in the 1885 bar was very polite and friendly too. Going into breakfast next morning was lovely. We we were greeted by Lorraine and asked if we would like to a window table. She explained everything in detail and the breakfast menu was superb whither fresh fruit and yogurts and a great selection for breakfast.
The poached eggs were perfect but we have to give a special mention for the chef Mick who made the most superb overnight oats with a selection of fruits and almonds it was delicious. Would we stay again, most certainly. Well done everyone for making our stay most enjoyable."
"We had a wonderful stay at the Waterloo Lodge Hotel. Surprisingly upgraded on arrival to a lodge room with patio. It was nice to have some outside space. Room was spotless & quiet, bed comfortable and we slept really well. The addition of a mini bar would be useful but other than that, the amenities were very good.
We didn't use the pool or gym but ate in the restaurant 1 night as closed on Monday & Tuesday evenings. This wasn't an issue as there are plenty of good pubs and restaurants within 10 minutes walk from the hotel.
Breakfasts at the hotel are excellent and cooked to order with good quality produce.
The outside areas would benefit from a bit of attention but we will definitely be back.
Thank you for a lovely stay :)"
"This was a stay mainly to see the area not to use the facilities but the gym looked good . I wanted to use the pool one evening but it was closed at 6 when i went so beware of that . Food was great and good value . Breakfast was excellent with a good choice . Excellent room for wheelchair users which my wife is . Brilliant wet room and excellent all round . Parking good also ."
