First time writing a review. Fantastic! We were very impressed with the accommodation; modern, stylish and comfortable. Slept very well. Area is great! Rooftop garden was brilliant. Pub and train station at your door what more do you need. Will stay again!
Extremely difficult to book, need to send photo ID the pay a large deposit, it took over 6 phone calls to sort all this out. Then takes 3/4 days to get deposit back, all for a 1 night stay.
We stayed on a Saturday and hardly got any sleep due to busy pub below and a taxi rank outside, the last people we heard talking at the taxi rank was 4:30am.
It’s advertised as a double sofa bed in the kitchen area but it was tiny.
The accommodation was excellent, very clean and clearly quite new, all amenities were there, except maybe some tea towels would have been useful.
The only downside was the fact that it was above a pub, which, probably being a saturday night, was playing live music, which meant you could not sit and watch television or relax in the flat. However the music did not go on all night finishing around 10pm.

Regrettable choice in Huyton!
The place itself is nice. Internally…… its right above a very noise pub doing karaoke till gone 11. The flat is not sound proof at all.
We booked this last minute on a Friday for the Saturday night. At 2pm on the Saturday afternoon i picked up an email saying we need a £150 deposit now and 2 photo forms of ID. 1 for each adult. This is noted in the advert but for them to take that long is unacceptable. If my wife didnt have her ID in her emails from our house purchase we wouldn’t have been allowed to stay, despite being 200 miles from home and an hour from the place. That admin should be instant after the booking if required.
It had no loo roll, lovely salt and pepper shakers but no salt & pepper. No washing up liquid for dishes, no cloths, only 1 wine glass.
The double sofa bed is a click clak one so is the seat and back as the bed and my 2 8 years couldn’t share it. So they had the double bed, i had the sofa bed and my wife had to sleep in the cuddle seat.
The apartment was boiling!! Only 19c outside but we couldn’t have the windows open as the pub music was so loud!!
Awful awful stay!!

Avoid until they improve their check in process
The property itself was nice. However it was overshadowed by the check in process and communication with the property manager.
It is not clear from the listing that ID and card details are required before check in (the listing suggests it’s at the time of check in, which is common). You will receive an automated message on booking asking for ID and card details at your convenience. It is not possible to send ID details on Hotels.com and it strictly tells you not to send card details. You will not receive any further communication from the property.
The number provided on Hotels.com does not work. You have to get the number by searching the apartment name on Google. I called and asked why I had not received any info about check in and was informed it was because I hadn’t sent ID and card details. I said that I could not provide them and the manager’s immediate response was, “well then you can’t check in.” I explained the limitations of Hotels.com messaging and was provided with an email to send the ID to and was told I could pay the deposit over the phone. The manager then proceeded to get annoyed with me as I got my card details as there were people she was waiting to serve. I had to call back so she could deal with other people. Check in information was only provided nine minutes before I was able to check in.
The property has an almost non existent check in process and the property manager was rude and dismissive when I tried to check in. Avoid for those reasons.
