Beautiful boutique hotel... The staff could not be more fabulous... like staying in someone's home with a staff... quiet, private and beautiful and very centrally located...barely a one minute walk from the front door is a port tasting place....
Wonderful boutique charming hotel with just 6 rooms. Ours was spacious and comfortable with a great view of the water. The staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly. Would stay here again in a second.
Staff and accommodations were great. Had a wonderful view of the port area and loved having the stocked refrigerator. The morning breakfast on the terrace was a daily treat too.
Really enjoyed the stay here and would come back any time to visit them again. Thank you for all the hospitality
Beautiful hotel, a little difficult to reach with luggage but staff help well. Loud during the festival, as it’s right outside windows but excellent location. Great breakfast. Well designed.
What an amazing boutique hotel. A must for any visitors to Lisbon. In the heart of the Alfama district it is best to arrive via taxi or on foot. The suite we stayed in (Lola) was fantastic. The bathroom with bath & shower was nearly as big as my kitchen at home! The washbasin alone has to be seen to be believed. The sitting area was huge with 2 comfortable sofas and views across the river. A beautiful sunrise from the room. The bedroom was sumptuous and bed very comfortable. All fully air conditioned. The breakfast of home- made granola, scrambled eggs & bacon plus a huge selection of breads, pastries , cheese & meats with fresh orange juice and coffee was delicious. The staff were super helpful and even carried our huge suitcases up from the street outside to our room, without complaint! 10/10 for service and attitude. A really memorable stay, we will be back. Thank you, we just wished we could have stayed longer. Oh and ask them for restaurant recommendations.
A quaint, unique, genuinely boutique hotel. All of 6 rooms on the property including the tower room. Wonderfully helpful staff. The dining room evokes a timeless sense of comfort and elegance. The only minus is absence of an elevator, but that is understandable as it is an historic property that cannot be altered from its original state. It offers proximity to downtown, shopping, restaurants and so on. Nicely prepared and tasty breakfast with both cold and hot dishes.
Wonderful old palace, amazing breakfasts, extremely friendly and helpful staff. And it’s a perfect location if you happen to be arriving from or leaving on a cruise.
We’ve stayed in many hotels over the years, and this is easily among the top five we’ve ever experienced.
The staff were brilliant—friendly, attentive, and always happy to help. The breakfast was absolutely stunning, with an excellent selection and fantastic quality. Our room was perfect: spotless, comfortable, and beautifully presented. A lovely touch was the complimentary minibar, which was replenished every morning.
I honestly can’t praise the hotel enough.
Lisbon itself is a beautiful city with plenty to see and explore. Unfortunately, we found it to be quite dirty in places, and there were a number of unsavoury characters around, which detracted from the overall experience.
Would I return? To Lisbon, probably not. To this hotel? Absolutely. If this hotel were in a different location, I’d return every single time without hesitation.
