This is my second time staying here. Hotel is clean and easily accesible. But this time what made the difference was the amazing service and attention. This hotel is a good option for people who have to stay overnight in Lima to catch a flight to the aiport the next day. The accommodations were clean but fairly minimal. The brunch was quite nice and offered a range of food options, and the check-in host was very nice and accommodating. From what I could tell and from the feedback from the taxi driver, San Miguel is a nicer area within Lima, but I did not explore it at all.

This hotel was OK. We stayed here one night because we had a flight to Cusco early in the morning overall it was fine, but it was facing the street and very very noisy. The floors were kind of greasy and it was pretty bare bones. The breakfast was a nice addition and the check-in host was very nice, but otherwise it was, pretty subpar I would not recommend it for a longer stay but it’s fine if you just have to get to the airport quickly

This hotel itself is very nice, and we really liked our room, which was large and had a large bathroom and Jacuzzi tub — it was definitely worth the extra few dollars we paid. One major complaint, however, is that it was extremely noisy from the street outside. I expected that a room of our caliber would have been located in a different area of the hotel, as not to have been bothered by the traffic, but overall, the hotel is nice and we would consider staying again.

Perhaps I should I done more research, but this hotel is on a very busy and loud street. Throughout the night and morning it was just constant noise of cars and honking. It was not relaxing. The bed was quite short. I’m 5’10” and if I were any taller I would have had trouble fitting on it. The facility was clean and felt safe, but there weren’t many places to walk and get food, and ATMs were far away by foot.

The pictures are misleading. Room had a fishy smell. No AC in room and ceiling fan didn’t work. Shower clogged and walls had mold. The standard room comes with a really small bed. Super noisy outside the hotel and area around the hotel not the safest. Staff were very nice and tried to accommodate us but didn’t have anything better for us. The restaurant and breakfast buffet were good. Slow service but overall ok. I wouldn’t stay here again. It’s closer to the airport but for an extra 20 mins each way, I’d rather stay in Lima.

Our group stay at the Palmetto Hotel was fantastic. Upon arrival, we were upgraded to suites and quickly checked in. The staff was super nice and customer focused. The rooms were spacious with a full bathroom plus equipped with an ensuite jacuzzi tub for 2. Facilities were cared for and the property facilities were extremely convenient. A well appointed buffet breakfast plus made to order dishes was included and was fantastic. The only issue was that the suites faced a main road and sound could be an inconvenience to light sleepers, but easily mitigated with a white noise machine or earplugs. The Hotel is an excellent value, near the airport and in a nice populated area of the city with many conveniences within walkig distance. Will definitely recommend this property during a visit to Lima.
