Location is convenient. Close to dining, shopping and entertainment. No transportation needed to get around. Friendly staff. Affordable. Rooms had everything we needed and was clean.
The hotel is in the centre of Leicester, very near the shops, the room is nice even though it's a budget room, got the amenities like tea making and beautiful shower.
The hotel is hard to locate, due to there is no frontage, and the one way traffic system, got list a few time, parking is at nearby Highcross car park, it cost £6.00 for 24 hours because of concessions
Over all it's a pleasant stay

Place is ok nice upstairs balcony, staff are friendly.
Really hit and miss who the clientele are, don’t stay when Brew Beat festival is on (last weekend in August) unless you want 48 hours of endless bass even earplugs didn’t stop the thud.
Hotel was nice once but seen better days,
Would not recommend this place
That’s the second time I stayed just because it was a convenient location for me but the service is so bad and the rooms are so badly isolated

would recommend and stay again
stayed for one night. hotel easy to find and parking is reduced. when checking in very welcoming. cleanliness was good but used normal cleaner on glass and stainless steel leaving streaks. would stay again
Absolutely loved my stay here, bed was extremely comfortable, felt like home from home. The car park was literally around the corner, great to see the price for £6 over night cheapest in the whole city by far with 24 hour access.
Great city centre location hotel, clean, quaint, friendly staff, other than a blown bulb on arrival to room we couldn't fault it, perfect for a one night or weekend stay in Leicester
Great central location in Leicester. Clean and modren hotel. Only negative was the pillows were very uncomfortable. We would stay again (just take our own pillows)

Ok if staying for a night out. Not for business
Friendly staff. But hotels seen better days. Very tired. Was hairs in the bed. But noisy hotel right in the city. Room over looks a pub. Other guest playing music till 2am. Then the pub below had the kegs changed at 5am for around an hour. No breakfast
Staff were lovely, the room was very nice although the "soundproofing" wasn't very soundproof.
I would certainly stay again 👍

Very good location with economical parking option. Room is in good size and looks nice at first sight, however, when walking around the room, the floor is sounds, the fan in bathroom is sounds. And room clean service looks like not available every day, during 4 night stay my room only been treated twice.
Been visited Leicester many times, this one is most central ever but hope it improves.

well worth the money, very good service
Very good location for city centre
Staff extremely helpful
Room was a good size with comfy bed
Decor is a little tired but that is not a complaint, it did not affect our stay at all
facilties were good
I want really happy with the quality of the mattress and overall cleanliness of the hotel. The wall was peeling off around sockets. Didn't even want to use the shower because there was so much dirt around where the water goes and it's covered by a water mat inside the shower. Overall i wouldn't say if was worth the money i had spent
The girls on reception were excellent when changing our room due to the air conditioning leaking, very kind and quick to act! The room itself was clean and cosy, with a nice size shower.
Loved the room, however the fragrance in the ac was a tad strong. Noisy pub across the street into the wee hours was not ideal but great location for central Leicester.
I had a very good experience at this hotel. It was a beautiful room and I didn't experience any of the negative stuff someone else has written - someone out there is being a bit of a ***** to post all that nonsense! The hotel was clean, the room was perfect, the staff were really helpful and I will definitely be staying here again.

We received a phone call from this property when we were enroute asking when we would be checking in. Never had this before and thought it to be quite pushy as there are no times set out on the listing as to when you have to check in by. It was only an hour after check in time.
Also the room had a musty smell, possibly due to poor ventilation in the bathroom. The side tables in the bedroom looked like they hadn’t been dusted in months and some of the bedding was dirty.
The bed was however comfortable, shower hot and tv worked so not completely awful. Maybe just a couple of things to improve on.

Needs some maintenance ...
The hotel staff were lovely, check in very quick, and a good central location. The hotel itself is old however.
The first room I had the a/c didn't work and there was a small and noisy blower heater on the bedside table, and a half full bottle of coke that had leaded in the fridge. The safe was also broken.
Moved to a different executive room, the a/c was temperamental and refused to turn on two different days the bedhead fabric was torn, glue spilled on the large writing table top and chair, the safe was broken (apparently they are in all rooms).
The glass recycle garbage truck parks directly opposite the window at 05.40am to collect the bottles from the pub, making enough noise to wake the dead.
This would be a 5 star review if there wasn’t a couple shouting all night long in the hotel . Yes you can do much about it but it ruined my experience . From around 7 o’clock in the evening to 4am , I think next time they should check up on customers to see if they are okay in the future . Other than that, it’s been a really good stay.
