"This is a beautiful boutique hotel conveniently located in the city centre, just steps from the railway station. Our room was large, nicely decorated, and comfortable. The only suggestion we have is to install more USB ports. If you're staying here, make sure you have enough adapters for all of your chargers, etc. We'd highly recommend this hotel!"

"We stayed at Woodhall hotel and spa for 4 nights in the lodges. There was not much natural light entering the room and noise can be heard from the adjoining room The building could do with some refurbishment The views and gardens are beautiful The staff were really excellent and nothing was too much trouble The food was equally good with some fabulous combinations and flavours and, they have an interesting wine list, if slightly on the pricey side. Overall we enjoyed our stay. Thank you"

"Room was in good condition however it was a disabled room that was not advised on booking. There was an intermittent unpleasant smell coming from the bathroom. Seeing the disabled room I immediately requested a room change but here was not much enthusiasm as we had a 2 night stay and was told the hotel was full the following night so not much they could do and on the first night there were currently no other made up rooms. Overall the staff at the bar and in the restaurant and around the hotel...

"Great national Trust venue/hotel. Given it is old the windows rattle and no air con or fridge in the room. However if you are looking for a great place to stay with an old time experience, this could be the place for you."

"Staff are helpful and kind, and the property is very aesthetically pleasing. Super location for getting into the city easily. Though keep in mind it's an old building so the windows don't fully open, there's no AC and the fan they provide does absolutely nothing to cool you down...so with the warm weather be prepared to bake."
