"We had everything we needed to complete the Snowy Alpine Trail at Stillwell. A comfy bed and a warm shower at the end of the trail each day. The food was good considering we stayed out of snow season and there was only one person in the kitchen. The salad was fresh and chicken cooked well. Only a few meals available but they were cooked well. Staff were lovely at all times. Wine and beer was cold! Highly recommend Stillwell for being handy to walk the trails nearby."

"Modern clean and we loved the fire place that dried clothes quickly from the washing machine in the cabin. We wished we’d had some tongs for food prep, however everything else was there that we needed for cooking. Great size fridge but a small dishwasher which is understandable and needs to be stacked back to front. A good walk into town that hugs the lake as you do. TVs in every room. We enjoyed our stay safe and secure. "

"Good easy location. Helpful staff on reception & great shuttle service. Rooms are very basic, small & the carpet needs updating. Bedding was good. We stayed for two nights towards the end of the season & food services on site were never open during the lunchtime hours listed - only option was to go to Perisher for food. Breakfast included is ok. Dinner is expensive and not very good. It was ok but would stay elsewhere. "

"Tv,s in whole complex were all not working due to antenna out for some weeks. Broken toilet seat. Broken door on ensuite. Terrible pillows. Rattling external door outside room which had to be jammed shut until finally fixed late in week due to being a fire exit. Overwhelming musty smell in reception and main hall which permeated into rooms. Reception only manned when large groups checking in. Staff friendly but seem to be their for good time only. Poor breakfast choices that improved when school groups came in. Only on one occasion was juice available. Coffee machine broken. Continually had to ask for plates cups utensils. Overall very run down hotel in need of maintenance and people who care. Shame because stayed here 10 years ago and was so much better with great evening meals and a true breakfast offering, staff who cared and better maintenance. "
