"Only one elevator was working all week which led to 20 minute wait times to leave or return from our room on the 18th floor. There was no ability to control the thermostat in the room and the windows only open a crack. The room was stuffy and hot which made it difficult to sleep. One the 2 mattresses in the room was caving in on one side and very uncomfortable. Location is excellent. Walking distance to Central Park, theatres and Times Square. "

"We had a great time staying at the Lucerne. Staff is very friendly, room was comfortable and spacious, hotel overall has an old historical feeling so a little old but yet, clean. We stayed in a room facing the streets so a little noise but it didn't bother us. Location is premium. Close to Central Park, great restaurants and the metro is just a block away. Would stay here again for sure. Thanks to the manager for allowing us to do early check-in as we flew red eye and were exhausted. "

"It’s a good place and area to stay at. I would advise bringing any third party devices to change the input on the t.v’s because they actually don’t have their t.v’s set up to change the input on them. "
