I cannot say enough good things about our stay at this property. From the warm welcome at check-in, the comfortable bed and amazingly clean surroundings. The hosts went out of their way to ensure we had an enjoyable stay. We would definitely stay here again. Also it is the perfect place to stay for getting the train and visiting cinque Terre. La spezia is also very nice to explore.

This is a very well set up and managed hotel. Very thoughtfully planned and built. The disadvantages of having no reception and living on the third floor are negated by attentive proprietors who make sure that guests know evrything they need to know. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend the hotel to all others. Contrary to the promotioal material put out by Expedia, the hotel does not have "on-site parking", but there is convenient space near by.

This was the perfect location for our stay in La Spezia. It was about a 3 minute walk from the train station . Less than a minute walk are a market and laundromat which was super convenient. Our host Elisa was the sweetest person who gave us all the tips and best places to eat. She introduced us to our favorite breakfast spot Bjoin which was right underneath the accommodation (highly recommend the salmon toast). Elisa was also really good on updating us on the sea conditions and letting us know if the ferry’s were in service each day. The air conditioning was the strongest one we experienced in Italy. All in all, highly recommend staying here. Thank you Elisa and Simone!

We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Cinque Terre. The location is excellent — just a 3–4 minute walk from the train station, making it very easy to explore the area. The hosts were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always accessible whenever we needed anything. There are plenty of great dining options nearby, and the town itself is charming, lively, and very tourist-friendly. Overall, a perfect and convenient place to stay while visiting Cinque Terre.

Great stay close to the train in La Spezia! Simone and Elisa were incredible hosts. Always accessible if we needed anything (which we didn’t because they thought of everything). Up quite a few steps but there is a small lift if needed and for luggage. We loved it. Next to great restaurants and very safe area. They even called a taxi for us when we wanted one. It was a great stay.

Very good accommodations, close to the train station and walking distance to the ferry. Both which will take you to Cinque Terre. Elisa and Simone (the owner) are wonderful hosts. La Spezia is a beautiful city with many great restaurants and places to visit.

The staff is the best part of this place! They are the nicest hosts you will ever come across with. The hotel room is beautiful and newly renovated. The only negative is that is in an old building where maintenance is very much needed. But once you are in the hotel suite WOW! So beautiful and you will be treated like gold!

Easy to walk to many restaurants and cafes right around the corner

Firstly, the welcome from Elisa was so warm, cheerful & helpful with loads of useful advice on restaurants, booking transport etc. she genuinely wanted to ensure we had a memorable stay. The room itself was kept immaculately clean and had everything we needed. It’s not a huge room but we knew that when we booked - it’s not the price of a 5* hotel remember!! The room was in a characterful old building with probably the first lift ever installed in the world !! The location was superb as well. 5 mins from the station, 15 mins walk from the port and right next door to Bjoin - a fabulous place for brekky to kick off an active day with a full stomach ( got to try the full breakfast - legendary!). Thanks Elisa & Simone for helping make our stay on the Italian Rivieta so enjoyable!!

My wife and I stayed for two nights and had an excellent experience. The place is very clean, well organized, and perfectly located — just a few minutes from the train station to Cinque Terre and close to many restaurants and cafés. On top of that, we had an exceptional welcome from Elisa and Simone, who are truly warm hosts and made us feel at home during our stay.
