The host was amazing. She met me in the parking lot even before my check-in time since I was parking there earlier in the morning. She was incredibly friendly and helpful with pointers on where to go and what to do. Room is cozy and quaint. I would highly recommend staying here.

Cozy room in a great location. The host is exceptionally attentive, generous and helpful. We enjoyed the breakfast sandwiches as well.

Where to begin - Dawn makes you feel like you're at home! Room was wonderful. We had the Black Sheep Room which was very comfy even with our private washroom opposite the room! We were able to walk everywhere, small beach and quay for a swim, bakeries, restaurants, pharmacy (if needed). Auberge a wonderful place to chill where Dawn allows us access to a firepit in the evening, a hammock in the yard, as well as a sunny patio to have our yummy breakfast. Designer sandwiches were the most delicious I've had! Thank you Dawn - we'll be back to Auberge Mon Petit Chum!

Adorable house with the rooms on the second floor. Dawn communicates wel and givevs you everything you need, she even made our dinner reservations for us. Lovely walk to the shops and restaurants. Small kitchen in our room which was nice but it needs a light over the sink area. Keurig coffee maker would only pump out less than a half a mug of coffee, but that didnt bother us too much, perhaps I didn't operate it properly? Comfy Bed, big smart TV, and the boxed breakfast was delicious.

The Keurig coffee maker does make more than half a cup. You need to choose the amount requested on the screen. It has been working great for other guests since you checked out. Next time if you think something isnt working in the room tell me right away and i can either show you how to work things or fix them if need. We look forward to having you all back here! The coziest auberge in Wakefield! The perfect place to stay for a mini holiday with day skiing at Edelweiss and a home away from home with our incredible hostess, Dawn. Although tricky provincial lockdown polices kept throwing roadblocks, Dawn kept pace finding solutions for us that helped us have a happy New Years! We’re already missing those (included) delicious breakfasts that Dawn whipped up daily to accommodate our dietary needs, but all the more reason to come back soon!

Unique decorations, very comfortable stay. We felt right at home as there was an equipped kitchen galley with crockery and utensils, microwave and a fridge. Hostess also kindly stocked the room with milk, coffee and tea, and even a chocolate kiss on the pillows! The suite had its own upper deck and chairs to enjoy the outdoors.

Amazing and welcoming B&B
Dawn’s B&B was absolutely perfect for our family of 4. She is so welcoming and helpful. Our studio was larger than what we expected and was very clean. The breakfast was delicious. It is really a lovely place in a beautiful village! We highly recommend it!

A Wonderful Stay
Great hospitality and within walking distance to the nice little town with a French bakery and nice restaurants overlooking the river.. Very close to Gatineau Park that offers superb skiing ,skating and hiking opportunities. Owner serves a wonderful breakfast and provides lots of helpful information on the area.

Awesome B&B Experience
Such a great, family friendly B&B. Dawn was wonderful. From taking care of our family group accommodation needs and breakfast requests to suggesting local events, attractions and restaurants. The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable - suiting our needs perfectly. We will definitely visit Wakefield and stay at Dawn's B&B again.

Dawn is a very pleasant host. Breakfast was very good. We appreciated a lot that she did laundry for us. My daughter also had a good time hanging out with Dawn's daughter. I highly recommend this accommodation.

This was everything a B&B ahould be - really professional level of service but with a genuine warmth anf personal touch thst you just dont get in hotels. The host Dawn is absolutely awesome and made me feel like I wss staying with a friend rather than a B&B host! The bed was super comfortable, with a separate sitting room and bathroom. All immaculatly clean with a nice homely feel.

A very pleasant stay with homely vibes
It was a very pleasant stay. Dawn and her family made us feel like a home. She cooked delicious breakfast for us. My 5 year old son enjoyed a lot staying in the hotel and playing with her kid. She is knowledgeable regarding the attractions nearby and suggested the museum and the free admittance to museum that we could take advantage of. Overall my family is very happy with the stay. We took advantage of visiting Gatineau park which is on the way to Ottawa. There are lots of hiking and attractions in the area. A beautiful park. I felt that we had a wonderful time visiting Ottawa and gatineau park and this hotel is in perfect spot to take advantage of visiting all these places. My son remembers Bobby and he wants to come back and stay there. And we too. Many Thanks Dawn for making our stay memorable !!!!
