"My husband and I spent one amazing night here after hiking Mt Fuji the day before. We didn't know what to expect at our first Onsen but Kusatsu Onsen Buon exceeded our expectations. It is conveniently located by Yubatake Hot Springs and Sainokawara Park. It has a very zen and peaceful atmosphere. We booked a 90 min full body massage at the hotel and the masseuses were spectacular. They addressed every aching body concern after our hike! The breakfast was also plus. I would highly recommend them...

"We enjoyed our three night stay very much, and we're happy that we chose this hotel. The room was a good size and fit our needs. The only complaint was the terrible pillows and fairly hard beds. The restaurant proved to be decent. My Japanese wife loved the breakfast choices and I was happy with some western basics, like great scrambled eggs, reasonable sausages terrific coffee and granola. The room has toilet and wash basin but no shower. Light breakfast is included. The Ryokan is located right in town. Just a short walk to the Yubatake. The staff are friendly and helpful. Overall, it is a decent place to stay overnight. "
