Charming hotel in a beautiful location

The hotel is right by the Florian Gate in the old town. The hotel looks great, and the rooms are nicely decorated and very clean. The staff are friendly and the restaurant in is great.

We visited Krakow in December 2025 specifically for the Christmas Market and stayed at Hotel Polski Pod Bialym Orlem. What a joy! The location in Old Town Krakow can't be beat - it's literally walking distance to most attractions within Old Town. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, and the historical ambiance of the hotel was weaved throughout the property. The room was large, well-appointed, well cleaned daily and included free daily water, coffee and tea. Based on the USD we paid, the room represented a great value for money. Our room was on the 3rd floor with skylights only so the only street noise we heard was the occasional emergency services siren. The $12 USD breakfast is amazing with daily changing variety so it doesn't get repetitive. I certainly recommend this hotel and would take any chance to visit again

The hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. Beautiful, spacious room which was thoroughly serviced every day throughout our stay. The reception staff were very welcoming and helpful with all aspects of our stay. The breakfast area was a delight and the kitchen staff provided a wide variety of delicious foods to savour. The hotel is located in a picturesque setting within the old town, which made sightseeing so convenient, within easy walking distance of the main streets and places of interest. Excellent, charming hotel on old town. Neatly and beautifully decorated. Walking distance to everything. Comprehensive breakfast to die for. Staff are amazing. Olivia is a gem. It’s not a modern building, so expect old school beauty and elegance.

I love the surrounding area of the hotel, very pretty, clean and the hotel itself. Close walk to the square and lots of things to do near. Unfortunately our room was on the side of the hotel and found the street very noisy outside, not just the people/music but also the bin collections.

Our stay at Hotel Polski Pod Bialym Orem for a week was excellent! The staff at the hotel was fantastic! The doorman and front desk gentleman were so helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. A+++ The hotel had a wonderful vintage atmosphere with well chosen artwork and artifacts. The breakfasts were so good with a large variety of food, definitely something for everyone, I looked forward to it each morning. The location was so convenient, just out the door was the Museum, Shopping, Restaurants and Planty Park. Perfect location! I hope to stay there again. Thank you!
