"The hotel has an amazing location, fabulous architecture and is maintained in a great condition. The common areas and rooms were super clean. However at this price you would expect some level of service and hot water in the shower. Check in was ok - the person at the reception was obviously new so a little bit clunky check in process. However.. I had ordered a restaurant table in advance for dinner that night. When I showed up around 7, the restaurant was less than half full, and I asked...

"They charge extra for the pool which wasn't clarified on their listing. And even if you paid the about 10 dollars for 2 hours, the pool isn't even open during hours that are most convenient. They didn't even open the pool until 3pm and closed it before 10pm. No morning swims. Plus there was construction going on somewhere in the building, so around 10am for most of the day you heard that. But the staff was very good and nice along with the rooms. Excellent kitchen and comfortable beds....

"It’s decent hotel even if slightly overpriced (it could have been related to the music festival in nearby Ostrava). The room and the bed were big by European standards and so was the bathroom. Breakfast was pretty ok as well. The only thing which surprised us somewhat negatively was the €8 parking fee per night (in a small town). "

"Fantastic amenities such as pool, bowling and other activities. Good, quiet location and a nice walk by the river bank and the wooden village to the city. Clean, nice staff, beautiful design with traditional Moravian blue print. There is so much to see in this hotel that it should be an attraction on its own, definitely worth the visit. "
