I reserved two non-smoking king size bed rooms, one for myself and my partner, and the other room was for my parents, who are 90 and 88 years old. The young man who checked us in put us on 2 different floors! When I asked if we could get rooms close together, he said that one room would have two queen size beds. I think that a hotel that offers adjoining rooms would have two rooms available with king size beds. Then he offered us 2 bottles of water and 2 cookies. Four of us were standing there. I made a remark about it and he said that it was complimentary. Then he handed me another bottle of water and another cookie! Poor customer service!!!! However, the complimentary hot breakfast was good, and the hotel's location was convenient to our friend's house off Papermill Rd.

Upon arrival we were given a room that had no privacy curtains, after I was escorted to a room that had privacy curtains (to make sure I knew what I was talking about) we were given that room to stay in. Basically clean and only had that minor smell of damp and mold that old hotels have. However, after settling in we discovered that the bathroom sink had a backup problem. Since it was now midnight, and we were exhausted, we opted to deal with it and promptly left the next morning. I know the Comfort Inn is fairly old, but I believe they now, more than ever, need to pay attention to maintenance.

Hotel staff was very kind and helpful. The location is perfectly situated off the interstate and across the street from the mall for easy shopping and eats. Affordable rates with a pleasant stay.
