"Haven of quiet, comfort, elegance and kindness amidst the hustle and bustle of downtown Nairobi: The Sarova Stanley is an amazing hotel. It is a beautiful building, immaculately maintained, thoroughly modern, yet with the feel of a world-class, historic hotel. The Thai Chi restaurant is exceptional for the quality of the food and the ambience, and the breakfast buffet, especially featuring local dishes on Friday mornings, is wonderful. The best part though is the hotel staff: warm and welcoming Hospitality Professionals, knowledgeable about their mission, proud of what they do, and determined to provide an excellent level of customer service and experience. I recommend this special place unconditionally - and plan to return!"

"Staff was excellent. Amenities in the room were not up to standard for a 5 stars hotel and overall, the feeling is that the hotel is living on its glory - but is not any longer that good. Hot/Warm water in the shower was not coming. Heating/AC was not working and the insulation of the rooms is of poor quality as well as the sound proofing. What is the point of having a terrace by the garden if you cannot use it as everything gets wet?"

"This hotel is a “hidden gem” in Nairobi. We have stayed here a number of times over the years. Very clean. Staff is helpful and kind. Breakfast is always excellent. "

"We really enjoyed our stay at the JW Marriott. The hotel is spotless and the staff was exceptional. The breakfast buffet was great and the staff were very responsive to any request. The other restaurants offered a broad variety of dining choices. Room service was fast with a good menu and they picked up the dishes quickly. The exercise room was great with the most recent cardio equipment. They have a decent variety of free weights and Lifestyle equipment with about six treadmills, some bikes, two rowing machines and an arc trainer. The pool was nice and well staffed with also an attentive staff to provide towels or poolside dining. We had the occasion to have a couples massage and both masseuse were fantastic. They gave us real massages and not just a body rub. The room is very nice with modern and stylish decorations. The shower was good size and the bathtub perfect. The only drawback was that the room seemed a little small and the mattress was terrible. Overall I think we would return for the incredible staff, dining and overall ascetic of the property. Across the street is a small mall with a 24 hour market that also sold souvenirs. "

"My arrival got off to a complicated start, at reception my reservation and room weren't checked and I was given the key to a budget room, I declined that and was shown another room which was budget with a TV, which I said this isn't the room I've prepaid for, the hotel staff didn't seem to believe I'd booked a executive pool view room until I showed them my booking and receipt that I'd prepaid, I was eventually given the right room with the intervention of a staff member Joyce because I told her I was going to find another hotel and leave she asked if she could sort this out for me and not to leave I agreed and from that was given a great room and with good internet access and an amazing comfortable bed the day after my arrival from then there were no further issues. This hotel has the most amazing staff, friendly, welcoming and efficient and made my stay a pleasure,good facilities and great food and good pool. Downside is there's no kettle in the rooms, I asked but none available which is rare today in most hotels, they will bring you a flask of hot water for a fee but you feel a nuisance always asking for one,so maybe that needs looking at . Anyway a good stay at SNL but I have to thank the staff personally who made it so, Joyce, Kate,Katherine, Regina and Maggie on security you are all in my opinion a credit to this establishment and because of all of you yes I would stay here again, thank you...."
