"The family slides are fun. The kids love it and we all head a fun time. But stupid expensive. From room prices to food. For 3 nights you can book all inclusive and airfare to Cancun. So you have to really make sure you come early on the day you check in and stay as late as you can when checking out, to get the most out of the place."

"My wife and I love the Kendall Hotel. The charm of this hotel represents the genuine article that is Texas! Drop back in time and enjoy a cocktail from the fine bartenders in the rustic, chic bar/speakeasy. The restaurant is beautiful and serves incredible hill country steaks and biscuits. Service is southern hospitality when you walk in the door. 🤘👍 FYi…if you want to experience 1860 Texas farmhouse, request the Waco cabin. A historical wild-west cabin moved to the Kendall property…where a friendly ghost must have moved with it! 👀 Walked around in our room late night but never bothered us."

"A group drove into the back and swam. Three adults and 3 toddlers. Left after staying about an hour. Left a dirty diaper in the parking lot. Some type of keyed gate entry would solve that."

"A beautiful area. Unfortunately the pool was green and being emptied, because it was super hot. No coffee provided and the machine had an old filter with used grinds in it. Be sure to ask for enough towels if you have more than three people staying, which the staff provided quickly for us. The sofa bed only had one extra sheet so I would suggest bringing extra blankets if you are someone who gets cold, because the lodge suite stayed super cool which was nice. The sitting area is peaceful and nice just kind of dusty and full of some spiderwebs. The chairs provided in our area felt very wobbly like they could break any minute, but they stayed together for us."
