"Truly, an exceptional experience! We have visited several Auberge properties over the years and while the chain always provides an excellent experience, the Mauna Lani surpassed all of them! From our warm greeting to the hotel, to the fabulous hotel grounds and amenities, to the helpful staff, nothing was left undone. The lobby of the Mauna Lani is nothing short of breathtaking, with a wide array of gathering areas and comfortable nooks. The beachfront areas had gorgeous views and the property amenities included free snorkeling gear, paddle boards, and fun activities, like a tour of their impressive fish ponds. The Mauna Lani left us luxuriated, relaxed and feeling that aloha spirit!"

"What stood out most was the setting and the amenities, especially for families. The property is expansive and gives kids a lot of room to explore and enjoy themselves. The natural lagoon was the highlight of our stay. Being able to snorkel right on property, paddle around comfortably, and even spot sea turtles made it a unique and memorable experience. That feature alone created moments the kids will talk about for a long time. While the rooms felt a bit dated and the service had more of a large resort, chain-style feel rather than a highly personalized experience, the overall space, layout, and lagoon environment balanced that out. The atmosphere works especially well for families who value activities and room to spread out."

"As advertised, the staff is exemplary! All you need to do is ask and a member of the staff will fulfill your request quickly. We had a problem with our TV and they replaced the entire TV in about 15 minutes. The staff has a sense of pride when it comes to making sure everything works at Mauna Kea and that all of your needs are met! Our room was meticulously cleaned daily and again, you can ask housekeeping for anything and they will respond to the request promptly. You won't find a better beach than the one at Mauna Kea Beach. It's an all sand beach as far as you can walk out into the ocean. I highly recommend the Mauna Kea Beach hotel and will return there in the future. "

"We enjoyed staying in unit 4G. The condo had 3 bedrooms. One had a king-sized bed. The second room had a queen bed, and the third bedroom on the 1st floor had two twin beds. Each had its own bathroom. There was also a laundry room in the condo. The kitchen was well equipped with a drip coffee maker, rice cooker, toaster, and pretty much everything one would need including food storage containers. The host thought of everything for which we are grateful, including hairdryers in each of the bathrooms and 2 inflatable mattresses complete with bed sheets. A pleasant surprise was a closet filled with useful items for a trip to the beach (beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie board, and sand toys). Beach towels were easily obtained from Guest Services who were also very nice. The place was very clean and very comfortable even with 8 people. The property has a small gym with amazing views and close to shops and restaurants. We highly recommend this place!"
