There is a beach and the angel pier in the nearby resort - it's good that the property can leverage on that too. Our room is comfortable, with microwave oven and quite a big fridge. "My husband and I had an absolutu fantastic stay here for 3 nights - it's the perfect base to explore the island while being located close to Ishigaki centre for great food options and amenities. The swimming pool was a fantastic length to do laps in, and the buffet breakfast was delicious with lots of western and Asian options. Our room was spotless with a beautiful view over the ocean. We will definitely be coming back to stay again! "

"Great location and accommodating to foreigners. Worth booking if you are looking for a "apartment hotel" with a kitchen and space to do your own thing. Imagine the space and number of beds would be a great benefit for larger groups. Bear in mind there is no check in staff to assist unless directly requested. "We had an Ocean view room. The room was clean and well attended. The hotel is a resort with a couple of pools, a few restaurants and lounge. We used the lounge and Soltida,a more casual restaurant. The other two restaurants looked very nice, however quite expensive. The breakfast buffet was very good. Large selection of western and Japanese foods. The front desk staff was always very helpful to arrange dinner reservations and taxis. The hotel is a little bit too far of a walk from downtown, especially in the heat and humidity. There is a bus that runs to downtown however we did not use it. Taxis were inexpensive. The hotel provided free parking as we had a rental car that we used to explore the island. Ishigaki is definitely a nice tranquil island and a nice break from the hustle and bustle of the bigger Japanese cities. "
