The most incredible stay at this lovely space overlooking the water. Super friendly staff, clean, tidy and enjoyable rooms. We will be going back one day!
It was a memorable stay. The hotel is close to the beach. The lovely ladies provided unforgettable hospitality. The meals were simple Japanese home made food. They invited us and other guests to see the Sagaribana (the flowers only bloom at night) in the neighbours garden then the owner of the house invited us into their garden to admire this beauty. If I could give them 10 stars for their hospitality I would. Highly recommended.
Japan hotels deliver the ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Experience for all their guests. Upon arrival I was greeted by name and given an incredible tour of the welcome guide, which even had a QR code to scan on my phone.
Shizuka-san, the front desk worker was so happy to answer all my questions in both English and Japanese. I would return based on her incredible host service!
So creative, super kind in totally good way crazy imaginative cute personality owner who speaks impeccable English. He designed and made the such nice Henzel and Gretel like "college" himself.
Inside has awesome taste, spankingclean. Everything we need in Yakushima. Massaging machine, shoe dryer, and what more "Shiseido" high end shampoo and body wash!laundry hut and food delivery, vending machine hut are so cute, too.
Wanna go back and spend more time there.
We absolutely loved our stay here. It's tucked away north of Ishigaki, between Kabira Bay/Sukuji Beach and Yonehara Beach. Though it wasn't convenient to get to town (about a 30-min drive each time), it was worth it to stay there for us. The hotel has an Instagram-worthy vibe. The facilities were aesthetically pleasing, the amenities were high-quality and the service was top-tiered. My husband can't stop raving about the high-end NOWHAW pajamas that were provided in the room. The Bang and Olufsen speakers were a really nice touch. (I mention these items because you can tell the hotel was very thoughtful in the details of the room.)
Our room looked out towards Kabira Bay and we enjoyed waking up to the gorgeous sight each morning. On clear nights, we even saw The Big and Little Dippers. If you're looking for something away from the hustle and bustle of town, this is the hotel for you.
It was fine for us, but take heed there are no elevators so if you're on the third floor, you'll have to think about carrying your luggage up and down as well as walking up those steps each time to your room.
