"Great Location "

"Bonus points for having no carpet... I have an absolute horror of hotel carpet. This is an old style motor inn that's been remodeled with a mid-century modern vibe. The rooms are small, but adequate, with a decent tv, a mini fridge, microwave, and keurig. The bathroom was tiny, but clean -- no tub, shower only. My biggest gripe was probably that the only mirror was over thhe bathroom sink, and there's absolutely no counter top in there. Glad it was just me and my husband; if you're...

Front desk attendant was very friendly and chatty. Busy street near the university but I had no trouble sleeping or with road noise. Has the old fashion under-the-window heater/AC which is of course noisy but expected. Nice one night stop over on a road trip."

"Ok. First of all, its not a 5 star for the price. Its an average, plain jane worn place the owners are diligently working on. Very accomodating with early check in, extra towels & pillows. Basic place, for a basic price, but worth it. Oh& the traffic noise? Youre on a 24 hr busy thoroughfare...duh..."

"The Parkway Inn might be the best value for lodging in Eugene. It is an older motel, but our room was freshly painted and clean, and it had perfectly serviceable furnishings (though some people might find the double bed too small for their liking), a heater/AC that worked well and a large mini-fridge. Though it is on a busy street, we didn't hear any noise at night with the window closed. The staff were pleasant and helpful."
