"We really enjoyed our stay for just one night. We found the parking convenient and safe, although we did an extra circuit of the campus as the signposting in the last 150 metres wasn't clear. "To start with, no check in information was sent to me before I arrived. When I arrived I couldn't get hold of the owner as he wasn't answering his phone and didn't have the curtesy to reply to the several messages I left, both in the form of answer phone and text. I had to contact Hotels.com via the online chat. Eventually one of the owners employees phoned me and said he would come and let me in. Once in the property, things didn't really improve. "For the price and for what we needed the hotel was great. The room was clean and so was the sheets and towels. Great price too. "

Very dated, dark & dingy decoration In desperate need of work Located on a busy main road, so noisy traffic. Carpet unclean Bathroom in need of updating 2 cups in room but no glasses. I asked a member of staff for a glass but was told they don’t supply glasses?? Definitely not recommended at this price!!!!"

"We stayed for a week. It was a good option for the price. Stayed on the ground floor and could hear what sounded like a herd of elephants above us for hours on end (it turned out to be human children) The floors are obviously very thin and not soundproof. Breakfast was great. Grounds were lovely. And the Heathley Arms Pub across the car park was wonderful for lunch and dinner options. "

"Very tired hotel, restaurant and bar closed. Ok for a stop off overnight, and find somewhere to eat."

"The table was chipped and scratched. And I had to pay an extra £40 on top of my booking price for the standard after stay cleaning. Had to message the property to ask for check in information. Could hear the road from the room as well as everyone leaving and entering through the front door. Will not be staying here again"
