"Can’t recommend this hotel enough. We had such a lovely stay. The rooms were huge and the balcony was a huge added plus. Everyone working there was so friendly and went out of their way to help us. The location is beyond perfect- it’s super safe and walkable to the V&A and Oranjezicht market. Some reviewers negatively compared it to the neighboring Queen Victoria hotel, but we actually preferred how close the Dockhouse is to the pool area. "Just a lovely place to stay. My only complaint was that the food menu was very limited, especially since I didn’t want a 6 course meal. Options were limited and cobbled together 2 appetizers as a meal. Otherwise, it was a very nice experience. "

"My experience at Rouge on Rose lived up to the reviews I had read before I booked it. The staff was very helpful, Jean, Michel and Chris were all great! Breakfast was excellent. My room was clean, and comfortable, and the one minor issue I had was solved quickly. You may want to avoid walking by yourself at night in Bo-Kapp. "

"The rooms are very well appointed, large and very clean. The staff are fantastic. Jason, the shift manager went above and beyond to assist me when I became ill at the end of my visit. He and his staff ensured that I had every single thing I needed to be comfortable as I recovered. Rozen was a joy to engage with at breakfast each morning. This is a wonderful property within walking distance to the Victoria Wharf. I'm excited to stay at this property during future visits to Cape Town. "
