Deixo a sugestão de existir maior flexibilidade nos preços, pois não faz sentido um hotel deste nível ter uma ocupação baixa e não se baixarem os preços."

"Could really not fault the staff or any part of the hotel. Very genuinely friendly staff on arrival, breakfast, and any other time needed. Hotel renovation has been done to very high standard, incorporating many parts of the old monastery. (Make sure you take in the monastery museum connected, so you can see the before and after)
The outside pool is just wonderful (with the right weather). It's big enough to have a proper swim, but you're still able to stand in the deep end.

The pool and the view are amazing.
The room may need some upgrade (bigger bed). But we really like the place/ owner and enjoyed the neighborhoods.

"Um dos hotéis mais incríveis em que fiquei. Quartos ótimos com uma vista única sobre o Douro.
Tenho apenas a salientar a falta de limpeza da piscina. Pelas 12h a piscina ainda not inja sido limpa e tinha vários insetos. Também de realçar falta de manutenção na casa de banho com as portas e rodapés ligeiramente descascados o que não traduz a qualidade geral do hotel."
"What can I say about this hotel it’s set in the beautiful Douro valley on the river front surrounded by the mountains, in Porto Antigo, the staff are very friendly and helpful the bar is well stocked and the food is very good.
We would definitely recommend it and will return in the future. "
"Top notch service at a magical property. Stayed in the vineyard view room and it was phenomenal. All the staff are incredibly helpful, pleasant and went out of their way to ensure our stay was nothing short of perfect. The "lake" pool is incredible, and is perfectly complimented by their in-house wines which they will bring to you at the pool!

"Property was well set out and a good size, two bedrooms plus lounge and kitchen. Owner was friendly, met us there at the agreed time for handover.
Village is very quiet, with a well stocked shop two minutes walk away. Motorway is an easy drive away."
