"I'm coming from another country with bags then I discover that there is only stairs to take the bags and I have to take it by myself which is very hard for me. I receive the room without cleaning and ful of insects. When I complain they didn't do anything only the security help me by changing the room"

"The room was a bit more basic and bathroom less modern than other Van der Valk hotels but was well located for my husband to do a “Z” Parkrun! Added bonus was the inclusion of entry to the bird park the hotel is next to - we really enjoyed our visit there in the morning!"

The hotel is located next to the main A12 road so handy for a stopover and we didn't hear any traffic noise from our room. Walking it's about 15 minutes to the train station. "
