"Having visited the Flamingo many times between 1994 & 2000 we where curious as to how the hotel had changed / improved . We loved our 1 night stay & our seriously considering to book a 1 week stay in October as we loved it so much . We were in a 1st floor room which have been very recently modernised . It was a fantastic room super comfortable . The reception staff , management & waiting on staff , cleaners etc were all excellent . The hotel should be commended for its excellent hospitality...

"We had a lovely time. The apartments are in an excellent location with easy access to a store and a few restaurants. The shared garden is awesome for kids and with a 15 minute walk you can get to the beach. The staff was super nice. The beds were "on the harder side". We spend around 8 days there. During the week, it was calm and peaceful. In the weekend there was some partying and noise."

"This is a great place to stay for the price. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, and the room was clean and comfortable with the exception of the shower curtain, which had a lot of mildew. The breakfast was excellent, much better than I had imagined it would be, great selection and coffee to order. My only complaint was that the Wi-Fi would not connect in our room, but all in all this is a great place to stay at a budget price."

"The bed was comfy. Sadly nothing else was good about this apartment. It lacks basic amenities such as soap and curtains. We were kept awake all night by a broken down fridge fan that wouldn’t stop making noise, and then kept awake in the early hours of the morning by the sunrise as there are no curtain on one side of the apartment. "Their address is wrong on any maps app. if you plug in their official address, you get a spot 2km from the location, a different campground that is much closer to town. Feels like a bait and switch. Also - not for the quiet traveller. Even though they have "quiet hours from 0-8, they don't mention the nighly shows by the central pool that run from 21:30 to 00:00 and reverberate through THE ENTIRE CAMPGROUND. Good luck getting an early night. The expectation there is that you will only sleep from 1:00 to 7:30."
