"Small family owned hotel. Located in a remote location, so very peaceful and quiet. In the evening there is a nice fireplace in the lounge. "Truly the best property in Portree. Yes you are outside of town centre, but it is within a 10 minute walk which we easily did a few times. The hotel was incredible. My husband and I were celebrating our honeymoon and the pictures do not do it justice ! It is by far one of the most romantic places I’ve stayed . Of course ,the weather was amazing when we went ;but it was so cozy and charming , especially waking up to the sunrise . The room was clean and efficient, all we really needed . Very sleek...

"No parking on site. Rooms are old but seems renovated recently. Rooms are not sound proof. You can hear noise from restaurant and bar downstairs till 11:30pm when they close it. Good for couple of days. Location of the hotel is good. Staff is very courteous and nice. "

"The views from this tiny cabin were spectacular!!! My family of 4 were able to stay there comfortably for 2 nights, despite it being a tiny house. The hosts were great with communication, and helpful/available with any concerns. It is relatively secluded, but that is what we were hoping for. Would definitely go back and stay there again on my next trip to Scotland!"
