Many people note the small rooms - but as expected in a historic building, it is indeed on the smaller side- but charming and cozy which I believe is part of the adventure when traveling Europe. "Smaller but comfortable room, well decorated, helpful staff and wonderful breakfast brunch! Walkable to so many things and accessible to ferries and metro. Lots of restaurants and museums in the area. Loved the sauna/cool pool space, robes and slippers provided. Downside for us as we had an alley view,: in the early morning hours the pickup of the recycling was loud, any other time pretty quiet. Had AC but you have limited control so at night would get hot with the comforters on the beds....

"What a delightful hotel in the absolute heart of Gamla Stan. I can’t recommend it enough!! We stayed here twice on our recent trip to Sweden. The first night we had a room without air conditioning and with your windows open you can hear the church bells every 15 minutes all night. I put my ear plugs in and slept fine. The second time we stayed our room had air conditioning and we needed it. You are literally in the middle of all of the action so you can stop by the hotel as you explore the old...

"If you are looking for an authentic local accommodation experience, this little hotel may be for you. The staff is very friendly, the breakfast was just fine in a small nook. The location is good with easy access to the train and bus stations as well as many dining options. However, this is a very old building, so the rooms are “quaint”, meaning the doors are small and the floor is really crooked. Also, you will have to carry your luggage up at least one flight of narrow spiral stairs, and...
