The place is fine, clean, pool is realxing- not heated but feels good in the heat. The beds are past there prime- the springs are DONE the sheets are soft though. The breakfast included is lovely and they make great french toast. Perfect for 1 night before we took an amazon cruise.

Room, amenities, food and staff were great. I experienced in my room trembling due to loud music. I would recommend getting a room the farthest from the entrance to the rooms, to the left. It was completely silent then! Overall great experience. Somewhat dieta friendly menu if you ask for it too

Much better than the its sister location, the Eldorado Express. Very clean here and well maintained. Staff courteous and efficient. Good location on Napo within walking distance of many restaurants and attractions.

Best bang for your buck

The room was nice, better than many in town for almost the same price (and close to the DoubleTree for less than half the price). The desk staff all spoke English well and were very helpful. Room was in good shape, everything worked.

Very clean, spacious room. Excellent breakfast, and friendly staff. Late check-in was friendly too. The city itself isn't hugely meant for tourists, but this isn't a reflection of the quality at El Dorado Classic.

Excellent place and the price is good. I saw other reviews complaining of the noise from the bar so we requested a room on the third floor. Turned out to be quiet with no complaints. We did notice other people complaining of the noise who were on the 2nd floor.

The staff is friendly, helpful and accommodating, making for a pleasant experience. Room is simple but clean and new with excellent a/c and quality tv. Request for a chair was attended to immediately. I would have liked more sitting/desk/table options in the room and an additional door lock from the inside for peace of mind. A nice gem oherwise.

This is a great stay that is in the center of Iquitos. I will gladly stay here the next time I travel back to the Jungle. Usually hotels in paces like Iquitos can be loud but this is a great hotel.
