Waves Resort & Spa, Barbados, An Autograph Collection® All-Inclusive Resort
10/10 Excellent
"We had a wonderful stay at the Waves resort and would definitely recommend it. The room was very clean, and the bed was extremely comfortable, which made it easy to relax and get a great night’s sleep. There was a good variety of food options, and everything we tried was enjoyable.
The spa was a highlight, truly a great experience and perfect for unwinding. We also appreciated the strong and reliable WiFi coverage throughout the property.
The staff were friendly and helpful across the board, but a special mention goes to Kevin, who took the time during the orientation day to clearly explain everything and make us feel right at home.
Overall, a great experience and a place we would happily return to."
"Sugarbay Barbados was an excellent all inclusive resort. As someone who travels frequently and has been to multiple all inclusive resorts, this one stands out. The service was excellent, the rooms were exceptional and the food was phenomenal. Most all inclusive resorts don’t have the best food, this resort blew us away with the food. The location was great, close to all the main attractions. We had a wonderful stay and cannot wait to recommend this resort and location to our friends and family."
"The worst trip ever. The staff was rude and tried to stuff us in a different room than what I prepaid for. I paid for ocean front with a 26 foot pool, they tried to stick us with a garden view. Only after asking for the GM did they switch us to an ocean front room. The service was terrible. They never came to pick up our bags after 2 phone calls, I dragged them to the lobby myself. Don't waste your money on this place. Not even close to worth it."
Wyndham Grand Barbados Sam Lords Castle All Inclusive Resort
8/10 Good
"Beautiful grounds. Great restaurants. The rooms are very luxurious - especially the bathtubs. Entertainment is great too! Kids loved the pool. I do wish there were more pools for the kids to enjoy. Booking reservations for dinner was a nightmare though. We couldn't book in advance, were staying a week and on night one there was a restuarant already entirely booked! How does that even happen?! Also no kids in restaurants after 8pm!!! Finally check in was awful. We got there on time - rooms not ready & told to go eat first so we did - 2+ hours later rooms still not ready. I almost cried. They finally became available. That was completely unacceptable. Property was fine - but on the south part of the island so beaches not good (Sargasm) and far from the Main areas. Resort amenities made up for that with peppered in excursions. "
