"Wow — where do I even start? This hotel is truly a hidden gem, the Ritz in the middle of the bustle — a peaceful sanctuary tucked away in a lively area. I booked last minute and was absolutely not disappointed. From the moment I arrived, everything felt luxurious. What stood out most was the staff. Every single person was so warm, friendly, and genuinely interested in making your stay special. I can honestly say I’ve never experienced customer service quite like it. A special thank you to Vera, Anna, Kiki, and Paulo for being so kind, attentive, and making the experience unforgettable. The room was immaculate — spotless, beautifully presented, and with an EXTREMELY comfortable bed that made it hard to leave each morning. Breakfast was another highlight: champagne every morning alongside cured meats, cheeses, pastries, and most importantly, a pastel de nata! Absolute perfection. I genuinely can’t get over how caring and lovely everyone was here. If you’re looking for a quiet, luxurious escape in the middle of the madness of Albufeira, book this stunning hotel immediately!"

"Lovely hotel in the perfect location for a few days break. Close enough to the Old town but far away enough not to hear any noise during late nights. We hired a car and there was free parking all around the hotel. It was my birthday whilst we were there and the hotel left a bottle of prosecco and a card in the room although we didn’t tell them."

"Room was okay. Breakfast was okay. Check in was slow, rooms not available until after 4.30. Pool is closed on a Monday morning for cleaning."

"Very kind and caring reception staff, who, as soon as they saw my husband was having difficulty walking (a very recent development), went out of their way to organise a different apartment to that allocated since the lift was out of order, so we were only on the first floor. The apartment was spacious, spotlessly clean, and the kichen was well equipped, although I would have liked a dishcloth in addition to a washing up brush so I could wipe the worktop, and a pair of scissors. The beds were comfortable and the shower was very good. Didn’t use the pool, but it looked good, with a large terrace area for sunbathing. I also appreciated the fact that although I am English (but also have Portuguese nationality and have lived here 13 years) the reception staff conversed with me in Portuguese - so often I am replied to in English. Parking was easy, and location is good - walking distance both to the beach and the exhibition centre by Lidl (we were there for the annual Wine Fair). I would certainly stay there again. "

"Staff members were friendly and helpful, the hotel wasn’t on the beach but just a couple of minutes away, virtually next door to restaurants, bars, and supermarkets. Taxis, parking right in front of the hotel."

"Of all the places on my trip that I’ve stayed so far, this was my favorite. The view was absolutely spectacular. You can easily overlook the entire bay and walk to the beaches in minutes. You are surrounded with lovely restaurants and snack bars and everything Alphea has to offer. I had such a nice balcony with table and chair chairs and enjoyed sitting on my balcony watching the sunrise every morning. It was unbelievable!"
