Maya Sanur Resort & Spa

"Maya Sanur is a beautiful hotel in a lovely beachfront setting. The location was one of the biggest positives for us, with direct access to the beach and boardwalk, making it really easy to walk along the seafront and explore Sanur. Our room was spacious, modern and comfortable, and we particularly liked having his-and-hers sinks in the bathroom. We were also conveniently located within the hotel, which made getting around very easy. We arrived at around 1pm and completely understood that check-in wasn’t until 3pm. We were told we would receive a message when the room was ready, although this didn’t arrive until around 3:15pm, so it felt slightly pointless. Our key card also didn’t work on the first attempt, but this was quickly sorted. A couple of minor negatives were the noticeable whining noise from the LED mirrors in the bathroom and the lack of air conditioning in the open-plan communal areas. One thing we really appreciated was the service on our final day. After checking out, we were able to leave our luggage and return later to use the spa facilities to shower and change before our evening flight home. Overall, a very enjoyable stay in a beautiful hotel with spacious rooms and an excellent beachfront location."

"This is the second time we have stayed here. The staff are amazing, every moment of the day, every interaction. We will see you the next time we are in Bali! Thankyou for your hospitality. The restaurant, however, we had breakfast one morning, there was only one other couple eating, the service (although friendly) and food was quite slow, even though we told them we had a tour and had to leave by a certain time, I didn’t get to finish my food. I think this is a separate business to the actual hotel though."

"Great location, right on the beach walk, only a 5 min walk to the icon mall and right beside the turtle conservation centre where you can release a turtle back into the wild for a small donation. Breakfast was good, just enough to get you up and going for the day. Pool was large and a great place to spend the hot days, staff are always helpful. We stayed in a suite which was more than plenty of room for a couple, there’s a massage centre at the hotel which provided a great relaxing getaway from the hot days. We would stay here again if we were to stay in Sanur."

"Location is within walking distance to the beach and restaurants and coffee shops Not my favorite spot. Crowded and was a good stop for one night. We thought the beach was close but it took awhile to walk to it. They do have a golf cart that can take you to the beach. I rather stay some place next time closer to the beach. I felt boxed in by the hotel. It is a good value for the room."
