The day we arrived was my birthday ans although i never told them they mustve noted it from my passport and when we got to our room they had decorated my bed with happy birthday and flowers and made a cake out of towels then later that night arrived at my door with birthday cake and sung me happy birthday. I felt so special and thought it lovely of them to go to this extra effort. Absolutely made my day. Thank you so much "

"For a large hotel Sanur Resort Watujimbar was very quiet. The onsite restaurant is excellent with an amazing breakfast buffet. Dinners were themed buffet or a la carte. I ordered from the menu and was pleased with the quality of all my meals. I was there for a short stay and did not explore the area around the hotel."

"The hotel is definitely a good option if you are looking for a hotel near the airport (only 30min away). It is a huge complex and it’s amazing to see how well it is managed. Staff was excellent although it don’t start well. In an American hotel chain I was told that they don’t have too many king size beds. Then I was told I’ve been upgraded to a larger room. Upon entering the room it was the same situation which I experience more frequently around the world. A room with facilities for handicapped guests is being presented as an ‚upgrade with more space‘. It was sorted out afterwards but it becomes more a nuisance that I have to mention it explicitly at checkin every time."
