"I booked this hotel and overnight stay to escape the hustle and bustle of Istanbul. The time of year (mid-May), location and condition of this hotel made all of that possible. It's a 7-10 minute walk from the ferry station and close to all the restaurants, cafes and shops. Check-in was easy and pleasant. "Location of the hotel was brilliant. My son treated me for my 60th birthday as I loved visiting Istanbul before. So he booked it. We all had lovely rooms , my husband & I , my middle son & his wife & youngest son. Except for my eldest son he had the smallest room especially hard with a toddler. They complained to the manager & were moved to a bigger room however that was after a few days. That should not have happened. They should have been given a larger room at the beginning."

"Riva’s Hotel was overall a very pleasant experience. Staff was helpful and friendly and the location was close to the waterfront. The rooftop restaurant had a beautiful view and good food. Loved walking everywhere within 15-20 minutes to shop, eat and sightseeing. Our room was comfortable and nice, although there were items that needed repair and maintenance. Overall, I recommend this boutique hotel."
