"For property that was opened up in the 1800s, there are modern conveniences and amenities. Location is perfect, the staff is friendly and nice, and the spa is over the top. The building is very old, but everything else gets an A+ plus. there was a concert of instrumental musicians in the lobby on the night that I arrived, which was extraordinary."

"The hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We particularly enjoyed using the pool before breakfast when it wasn't busy. We felt there wasn't enough social space to sit and have a coffee and chat with other guests. There also seemed to be a problem with the courtyard bar which wasn't open during our stay."

"Had a very nice stay here. Rooms were nice and spacious - they gave us the family rooms since we were traveling with kids, which was nice to have a little extra space. The location is great. Nice it's right on the lake - kids enjoyed wading in the water. Had dinner at the restaurant there - lots of options. Nice our reservation included drinks which was a fun relaxing night out. Live music was fun too. "

"Our stay at The Victoria was AMAZING! Immediately greeted by a kind receptionist who took the time to personally connect with us. A beautiful room, great breakfast included, beautiful and clean bathroom! The one downside is no A/C for us Americans, but it did not take away from our experience at all. "Perfect location with easy access to parking, our room was exactly as advertised clean and comfy. we had dinner at the bar and it was delicious. The staff was very friendly and inviting.
