"I absolutely loved my stay at The Merchant. The building is beautiful and full of character. The kitchen was impressively stocked with healthy options like overnight oats, chia pudding, yogurt parfait and even hot cider and chocolate chip cookies. I also loved the Nespresso coffee and tea selection. The living room was our favorite spot calm, cozy, and perfect for relaxing by the fireplace with tea before bed. "Room was clean, wish the restroom had a fan, but the bed was very comfortable. We appreciated the chocolate on the pillows and bottled waters. The staff was very friendly and the common area was also nice to have with a microwave, coffee machine and refrigerator to use. Parking is free after 8pm and Sundays so that was helpful with a Saturday night stay. Quicker to take an Uber to visit Salem in October! Would highly recommend. "
